Nevertheless, VNV Nation has out-done themselves when it comes to “Epicentre“. This song can be found on the Future Perfect album. This song has been a huge hit since it’s release on the 28th of January 2002.

Hehe, 6 years old and the song is STILL kicking ass. I have recently heard it again at a club in town. Talk about a frigin long song to dance to. Thanks a lot Mr. DJ… Prick.

Good ‘Ol Metropolis is coming out, on March 25^th, with a 2-Disk contemplation CD. Its intent is to give your ears the best eargasmic time you have yet to have!

The first disk is mainly the best of Electronic and Industrial bands under the label. As for the 2^nd CD; Synth-Pop and Rock are recorded onto this little plastic circle of joy. Also, there will be TWO tracks that can only be found on this contemplation in conjunction with the other 20 tracks. 

The contemplation CD is called Metropolis: Rebirth 1.0. This unbelievable compilation features some of the most prominent bands in the industrial and rock scenes including VNV Nation, Electric Six, Combichrist, KMFDM, Grendel, and The Birthday Massacre, while also ushering in some of Metropolis Records newest members such as A Kiss Could Be Deadly and The A.K.A.s (Are Everywhere!).

Theatre of Tragedy is shown in the music video and the song Machine. VNV Nation did this remix and there is a lot of love coming from this music video because of it. This video is one of the few that is actually decent in the overall quality and music that has been posted on Torture Tuesday.

With that being said, Enjoy this succulent morsel of decency. . Just kidding. It’s very hard to find a well created video to industrial music, so I am proud to share this will everyone;even if you have already seen it.

Well now, this song is one that of memories. The song name is “Industrial Love” by In Strict Confidence and remixed by none other than, VNV Nation!

Now the movie is Metropolis by Fritz Lang… old, corny, and fits perfectly with the overall theme of the song. I was surprised to see a lot of the hits were able to be matched to the beat. Even though this movie is the “crap of the crop”, it needed to be shown on Industrial Addiction.

So, sit back, enjoy the trip back into time, poke fun at the oddity of the movies performance, and most of all; enjoy the MUSIC!

VNV Nation – Perpetual is a great song and very ambient, mellow, chill, somber, etc. Too bad the movie is non existent. I’ve always wondered what the fans where thinking when they made this kind of crap. I mean come on.. 7 minutes and 53 seconds of just two damn earths with crappy typography. Christ a 5 made this didn’t they.

Well enjoy the song, it’s VNV Nation after all.

Year after year, music is not only changing because it wants to, but also because people demand it to. Hip – Hop wasn’t as prevalent sounding as it was in the past. This so because society demanded a new form of it and the hip hop found today is the outcome.  

The same goes for industrial. Too many rivitheads and industrialists are clinging to the old form and not accepting the new. This is unfair to not only the bands that are coming out, but too many people who wish to find information and new bands in this great genre.

Why many people do this, I have no idea. Perhaps they are leaving their comfort zone if they accept bands like Covenant or Combichrist as Industrial. Maybe they are just having trouble knowing that they are growing older with each passing year and the fact that industrial music doesn’t sound the same as it used to. Maybe that is breaking their hearts. The worst part of it could be the fact that these people just aren’t considerate or even wise enough to understand that nothing stays the same forever and are having trouble letting go.  

Whatever the reason maybe, these people need to quit while they are ahead and stop trying to ruin something that is good, just because they aren’t able to comprehend what is going on. I’m not dissing or trying to bad mouth these people in anyway, but what I am saying is simply this.

LOOSEN UP. IT’S MUSIC.

Music is meant to be enjoyed by all. Industrial doesn’t have to be your preferred genre, and no one is saying it has to be. No one is also saying that just because these newer bands do not sound like the older bands that they are NOT industrial.

The fact is they are. Combichrist, Cruxshadows, Covenant, VNV Nation (YES I SAID IT), and the newer F.L.A and Front 242 are IN FACT, industrial. That is where they have their inspiration and that is their sound. It is okay to choose not to accept them as industrial, but to say they are in no way shape or form industrial is just rude. Please people; don’t ruin something so good for others due to being biased.
