According to the doctor it was caused by<br /> a mix of intestinal infection, lack of sleep, stress and my usual fear<br /> of travelling in a plane (which unfortunately means an extra portion<br /> of stress to me). <o:p></o:p></span></em></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><em><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS'; color: #003300">It is tough for me to cope with the fact that I have imposed<br /> additional strain on the people who organized the shows and caused<br /> disappointment to those who expected us to play. But even though<br /> Rotersand is not able to join you as a whole band, I am sure that you<br /> will have a great time, listening to Krischan &amp; Stefan DJing and all<br /> the other great bands playing for you. I also heard that Krischan and<br /> Stefan (Dependent) will give away free Rotersand discs at the evening<br /> to make up for the cancellation. . <o:p></o:p></span></em></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><em><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS'; color: #003300">I feel sad and so very sorry for not being able to be with you. <o:p></o:p></span></em></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><em><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS'; color: #003300">Rasc”<o:p></o:p></span></em></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS'">I hope Rasc gets better soon and invests in some knock out pills for future plane rides. It’s a tough job to be a musician and some people forget that fact. I’m guilty of that at times too when I get my hopes up to see a band for the first time in years. <o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS'">Here is an update on the <a href="http://www.ebmfest.toronto-goth.com/"><u>EMBfest 2008</u></a>, from Sophia herself. <o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><em><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS'; color: #003300">“Hello folks <o:p></o:p></span></em></p> <p><em><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS'; color: #003300">This is a heads up for those of you that purchased tickets to attend<br /> EBMfest 2007 this year&#8230;. <o:p></o:p></span></em></p> <p><em><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS'; color: #003300"> I realize there was alot of disappointed fans as a result of the last<br /> minute cancellation of the headliner from this year&#8217;s bill. And while<br /> it would be irresponsible for me to offer free entry to any kind of<br /> future Rotersand show in the Toronto area as this is unconfirmed, we<br /> at EBM Promotions do appreciate the support and return patronage of<br /> all those who attend the EBMfest event. Consequently, it has been<br /> decided amongst the collective that complimentary passes to EBMfest<br /> 2008 will be issued to all those that purchased tickets to this year&#8217;s<br /> EBMfest 2007 event. <o:p></o:p></span></em></p> <p><em><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS'; color: #003300">All the online ticket purchases are archived so all details of<br /> purchaser are at hand. Proof of identity and if so inclined, purchase<br /> must be presented at doors to receive the number of passes equal to<br /> tickets bought for EBMfest 2007. <o:p></o:p></span></em></p> <p><em><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS'; color: #003300">As for all the door sales and outlet sales only ticket numbers have<br /> been archive, so proof of purchase in the form of ticket stub or<br /> ticket number/location is required to obtain a pass to ebmfest 2008 at<br /> the doors. So hopefully those that did purchase tickets by this means<br /> are able to obtain and keep information about their purchase to get a<br /> pass for ebmfest 2008. <o:p></o:p></span></em></p> <p><em><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS'; color: #003300">Plans for ebmfest 2008 will commence in january 2008 and once the line<br /> up is completely confirmed will the website be updated and complete<br /> details will be announced. And unlike this year&#8217;s Ebmfest, the line<br /> up will be expanded to include a couple of favourite bands that I am<br /> sure will not disappoint.
