The over album is a huge hit and has many remixes as well as original mixes by the band. Razed in Black has been adored by many for years, and has put out as many crappy songs as they have great. Visions, just happens to be one of their great songs. Go figure.

This music video is a recording of a live show as far as the sound quality goes, but the footage is obviously. Wonder if the poster actually has a degree in video editing or just has some sense in their brain.

Visions, as far as billboard ranking, is only rivaled by that of Razed in Black’s previous release of Oh My Goth! Both have a sensual female voice somewhere in the song. There isn’t much to tear apart in this video since they linked the audio format perfectly with the video. So I’ll give them credit. The only thing I can see is that if a person who is susceptible to epileptic seizures, they shouldn’t watch the music video too closely, unless they want a free trip to the hospital while the ambulance is driven by a wannabe taxi driver from New York… or California.

Anywho, As Always Here is A Fix.

Post from: Industrial Addiction

Triple Torture Tuesday x2 – Apoptygma Berzerk

Electronica

Torture Tuesday Vids

Apoptygma-Berzerk

Harmonizer

Industrial-Music

Love-To-Blame-(DJ-Lee-PerceptionMix)

Mainstream-Pop

Music

Music-Videos

Pop

Remix

Synth-Pop

Welcome-To-Earth

YouTube

YES YES AND OH GOD YES! Some say that the band has steadily declined after their Harmonizer album debuted in 2004. Others say it started after their 1999 release of Welcome To Earth.

Sometimes fans tend to disregard the fact that industrial has the sub-genre of SYNTH-POP for a reason. It does sound popish but it carries that familiar industrial beat. Though I have to agree, the band keeps changing their tunes and is becoming, regrettably, more mainstream pop than Synth-pop. I really hope that isn’t their goal since the band has been around for so long and so many people have enjoyed them over the reason.

That’s like a smoker switching a brand of cigarettes just because everyone else is smoking them and they want to fit in. COMEPLETELY RETARDED. Before I go on a rant on how retarded it is that some industrial bands go mainstream just for the money involved, I’ll cut myself sort and bite my tongue…

… for a few paragraphs that is.

The remix of Love To Blame has that techno-ish “buzz buzz bleep beeeep buzz”, sound to it, but it is done with a very subtle touch that it doesn’t take away from the industrial beat. It actually compliments the original beat and adds a deeper feeling and UMPFH to the song. The song is still cream-your-pants-tastic, though, without the remix which makes this a number 1 song; the Music Billboards are proof of that statement.

Overall the remixed song and music video is very well done and really doesn’t need improvement save for that fact of the random damn people showing up during the music video and throwing off the whole story.

First the woman is with an older baldy putting on a coat, and then out of LITERALLY NOWHERE a younger mate with colored peach fuzz on his face comes up and tries being all intimate. Alright fine… industrial music videos are known to make little sense but Christ guys you had SOMETHING going. Don’t screw it up by throwing in random people that could be considered “semi-attractive”.

Oh, whoops, too late. It’s already a frickin music video. I suppose that’s what you get for sounding more MAINSTREAM. Jerkoffs. While you’re going all mainstream why don’t you sing into the leader singer of U2’s eyes and confess how much more money you’re making and disappointing fans.

Also… if you noticed near the end of the video, the singer goes from short hair to hair down to his shoulders… WHAT THE %#@!

I guess Rogan™ does work. Went there reallllllly late. Actually only spent 2 hours there but it was still interesting. The play list was a bit better then last time and the DJ did only mess up one transition, so, at least I know he’s working on his stuff. <3

Any who. Zeromancer, Covenant, Ministry, Wumpscut, and some Razed in Black were the bands of choice that night (from what I was able to hear). So it was a good night in that area. One thing that was very new as well was the whole feel of the club.

Normally this club is full of elitist jerks who would rather glare and act snobby to you just for standing next to them and ordering a drink, alcoholic or not. This time around though, as soon as my brother and I walked into the club, heads turned and a few endearing looks ensued.

For some reason the night was overall more “friendly” instead of the whole “I’m better than you are because I am wearing a kilt and you’re not” vibe. There were a couple new faces in the joint and word had it that they were trying to know more about the whole scene as well as the music.

Heck of a place to start. Normally it would be a great idea to start at a club, listen to the tunes, and converse with others, right?

..:: Alarm Sounds ::..

Not at this one. So I cut them some slack and tried helping them out by explaining what songs where playing, by who, and what style they were. In the end, they ran back to their cars like giddy children as if it was Christmas Eve.

True Goths are nice. Plain and simple. A person could be wearing a gorilla suit in the middle of July and if that person crossed paths with a goth, the goth person would simply say “Nice suit”, AND MEAN IT. So the night was good but a bit pricey. Never knew bottled water would cost more than to get into the club. Sheesh.

I will cut this club update short and leave you with the best part of it all, the song of the night. If you’ve never heard it or even if you have it. I suggest getting it and listening to it!

The song of the night chosen from the club is:

== :Wumpscut – I Want You ==

As Always, Here is A Fix

Post from: Industrial Addiction

Torture Tuesday – Suicide Commando

Bands

Dark Wave

Power Noise

CD Reviews

Electronica

Industrial-Music

Industrial-News

Music-News

One-Nation-Under-God

Suicide-Commando

Synth-Pop

One thing I absolutely admire, and love about industrial music is how much can be portrayed by both the fans and bands. So when a fan of a band throws together a video to a song, a powerful message can be sent out. Mind you this message is only an opinion of one person and not everyone. Nevertheless, that one opinion seems to gain more structure, power, depth, and reasoning behind it from the lyrics of a selected song.

One reason why I am sharing this with you is because I have found a perfect example of what I am talking about. This message is a fan made video that they believe is fitting for the song by one of their favorite bands; Suicide Commando.

The song name is “One Nation Under God”. In order to understand this video a bit better keep in mind of the bass hit. Watch the video and see how, when, and what happens when the bass does hit during the song. Remember the song name throughout the movie as you watch what is being displayed.

This is just one way to help understand what Industrial music is all about and what it can represent as well as what it is not; even more so, what it is against. Enjoy the eye candy. I will have more next Tuesday and remember if you find a video that you would like to share on I.A. feel free to send me an email! I love hearing for you!

As Always, Here is A Fix.

== Suicide Commando – One Nation Under God ==

Post from: Industrial Addiction

Mind.In.A.Box – When Video Games Meet The Music Industry

Bands

CD Launches

Dark Wave

Electronica

Synth-Pop

Album-Releases

CD Reviews

Crossroads

Industrial-Music

Industrial-News

Mind.In.A.Box

Music-News

Release-Dates

This band is its own world.
