The singers’ voice is very smooth and his lyrics hold so much meaning not only in this song, The Love Letter, but in all of his songs from the recently released CexCells album.

This song could be taken as a person feeling as if they aren’t good enough for their lover but they are also afraid to show them how much they desire the other. Love can be complicated and at times it’s only that way since we tend to make it more complicated than it really is.

I suppose that’s one of the reasons why love is so intense when we do fall into it and the desired person feels the same. It’s so empowering and … explosive.

This song is not really an ‘upbeat’ song but it still can lift the spirits when needed. If you have heard this song before and do have a love, then when listening to this song remember the desire and overall empowerment of that feeling. You’ll be amazed on how the song turns from having a slightly depressing message to one that can possible intensify the love.

As Always, Here is A Fix.

Post from: Industrial Addiction

Lyric Wednesday – Depeche Mode: John The Revelator

Song Reviews

depeche-mode

Industrial-Music

Industrial-Music-Blog

John-The-Revelator-Lyrics

Playing-the-Angel

Song-Review

John the Revelator Put him in an elevator Take him up to the highest high Take him up to the top where the mountains stop Let him tell his book of lies John the Revelator He’s a smooth operator It’s time we cut him down to size Take him by the hand And put him on the stand Let us hear his alibis By claiming God – As his holy right He’s stealing a God from the Israelites Stealing a God from a Muslim, too There is only one God through and through Seven lies, multiplied by seven, multiplied by seven again Seven angels with seven trumpets Send them home on the morning train Well who’s that shouting? Not only do I enjoy this song because of the sound of the singers’ voice and catchy melody, but because of how the message can be interpreted.

There have been arguments and discussions about the songs meaning. Some say it can be related to Bush and his “warmongering” whereas others say that its meaning is hurtful toward the Christian community. If you look at it, they both are right as well as both are wrong.

For one, they are both right because both interpretations can be related to the present political and religious events. After all, this “war” is in the Middle East, but for sanity’s sake and having a disregard to get off topic, I’ll refrain from pursuing more on that particular subject.

Now, for how these are both flawed is a simple matter of what is it.. ah yes.. Common sense. It’s a song for one, and it’s industrial. SO right off the bat, 9 out of 10 times it’s going to have a slight political meaning. Just like punk does. Now for where it is flawed in being stated that this song is SOLELY political, any observant fool can hear (and see) that Bushes name is not stated nor referred.

John is.

John is apart of the Christian community. So therefore, I say again, both are correct, and both are flawed. In all reality of it all, who really should give a damn? Its music shut up and enjoy. If you can’t, then go listen to Britney Spears.

As Always, Here is A Fix.

Post from: Industrial Addiction

Triple Torture Tuesday x3 – Razed In Black

Electronica

Torture Tuesday Vids

Cleopatra-Recods

Damaged

EBM

Gothic

Industrial

Industrial-Music

Industrial-News

Music

Music-Videos

Razed-in-Black

Song-Review

Synth-Pop

Visions

Well Hello ladies and gents. The over album is a huge hit and has many remixes as well as original mixes by the band. Razed in Black has been adored by many for years, and has put out as many crappy songs as they have great. Go figure.

This music video is a recording of a live show as far as the sound quality goes, but the footage is obviously. There isn’t much to tear apart in this video since they linked the audio format perfectly with the video. So I’ll give them credit. At one time they were a bit but they have mainly been widely known through out the industrial and related music scenes.

Their beats have always been addictive and the simple lyrics they give throughout their songs only offer more popularity to the band. Get your dancing boots on, wear your favorite outfit, and as Combichrist says in one of their best songs, “GET YOUR BODY BEAT!!”

As Always, Here’s your Fix.

Post from: Industrial Addiction

Placebo. It would be more geared toward that of Synth-Pop but still, the roots are there.

Most of their songs are derived from the styles of U2, Weezer, and David Bowie. The U.K. has seen this band on tour for many years, but as far as the U.S. goes, we are sadly being missed. Soon hopefully the band will grace the U.S. with its presence and give a ‘Shock and Awe” if you will with their tell-tale rumors of a spectacular show.

I would love to see this band up close and personal to see what they really have to offer their listeners. So far they have a great sound and a pretty good group of avid listeners. Not to mention an ability, if they so choose to utilize it, to produce some very eargasmical Synth-pop.

I recommend getting their CD album Meds and rocking out to “Post Blue!”

As Always, Here is Your Fix

Post from: Industrial Addiction

Puscifer: A Breakdown of “Undertaker”.

Song Reviews

Breakdown

Industrial

Lyrics

Music

Puscifer

Remix

Renholder

Song-Review

Undertaker

Underworld

Rawr… now this song gets my blood pumping and heart just a racing. The beat, lyrics, and voice of the singer are something to reveal in. I LOVE THIS SONG.

If you ever close your eyes and sing along to this song, your worries and pain will cease.

This is so, simply because of how the of the beat is preformed, the tempo of it, how the singer stresses his tone in the song, and ultimately, how the song is overall presented and what it means to each individual who listens to it.

Everyone relates a song to the current on-going’s of ones life. Yes this song stresses hurt and pain. Even though the lyrics say “Thank you for making me feel as if I am guilty … making it easier to murder your sweet memory…”, it doesn’t mean that it is overall a hurtful song or one that is SOLEY made to let go of a pain that is hurting a person, namely a break up.

It does, as well, offer a tone that soothes. Listen to the tempo of the song and how deeply the bass hits as well as the electronic tones that follows before the song initially begins.

Doing so will help anyone who has had a recent heartbreak as well as a struggle when it comes to the greatest power a person can have. Love. Love is the “Greatest Destroyer” as NIN puts in their latest album of Year Zero.

This song is not only intoxicating with its deeply enriched beat and mystifying tone, but very well written for any occasion. It provides a sense of sexiness when listening to due to the background noise and emotion in the lyrics brought forth.

Sing along and find out for yourself.

== Pusicfer – Undertaker (Renholder Remix) ==

Post from: Industrial Addiction
