This will be the last of the Torture Tuesday Videos for the week. I found so many that I liked I figured I’d show you them all. This is a very interesting music track considering, Godhead did a remix of the original Beatles song Eleanor Rigby. Now I fell in love with the remix sometime ago, but what makes this track so interesting is the DJ took the original violins found in the Beatles version and added them to the Remix version. Needless to say, this is the best of the best for Torture Tuesday this week.

The Music video is the official video by Godhead. As always on Torture Tuesdays I will show you the worst or the best of industrial videos. You’ll never know what you’ll get on Tuesdays anymore!

Seems DJ Lee is at it again, from ElectronicFrontRadio.com. The song is actually quite ehrm.. nice, but the video leave my head spinning. Androgyny is the song name and the artist is Garbage. (no pun intended). This band has a few songs to my liking but not many, though, this made me laugh a bit so I give it a nod and a post.

Front 242 is the band, Headhunter is the song, Funker Vogt is the Remix Artist… Industrial will never make it if this crap keeps up.

Well now, this song is one that of memories. The song name is “Industrial Love” by In Strict Confidence and remixed by none other than, VNV Nation!

Now the movie is Metropolis by Fritz Lang… old, corny, and fits perfectly with the overall theme of the song. I was surprised to see a lot of the hits were able to be matched to the beat. Even though this movie is the “crap of the crop”, it needed to be shown on Industrial Addiction.

YES YES AND OH GOD YES!

This is the very FIRST, Numero Uno remix video ever posted on Industrial Addiction and it is AMAZING in not only the song BUT video! Today is a good day.

Now this song is called Love to Blame [DJ Lee Perception Mix]. This DJ did an EXCELLENT JOB on remixing this already beautifully intoxicating song. Apoptygma Berzerk has been around since 1989 and has been blasting their musical blissfulness world-wide since!

As of late though, Apoptygma Berzerk is becoming more Synth-Pop than what they originally started out sounding. Some say that the band has steadily declined after their Harmonizer album debuted in 2004. Others say it started after their 1999 release of Welcome To Earth.

Sometimes fans tend to disregard the fact that industrial has the sub-genre of SYNTH-POP for a reason. It does sound popish but it carries that familiar industrial beat. Though I have to agree, the band keeps changing their tunes and is becoming, regrettably, more mainstream pop than Synth-pop. I really hope that isn’t their goal since the band has been around for so long and so many people have enjoyed them over the reason.

That’s like a smoker switching a brand of cigarettes just because everyone else is smoking them and they want to fit in. COMEPLETELY RETARDED. Before I go on a rant on how retarded it is that some industrial bands go mainstream just for the money involved, I’ll cut myself sort and bite my tongue…

… for a few paragraphs that is.

The remix of Love To Blame has that techno-ish “buzz buzz bleep beeeep buzz”, sound to it, but it is done with a very subtle touch that it doesn’t take away from the industrial beat. It actually compliments the original beat and adds a deeper feeling and UMPFH to the song. The song is still cream-your-pants-tastic, though, without the remix which makes this a number 1 song; the Music Billboards are proof of that statement.

Overall the remixed song and music video is very well done and really doesn’t need improvement save for that fact of the random damn people showing up during the music video and throwing off the whole story.

First the woman is with an older baldy putting on a coat, and then out of LITERALLY NOWHERE a younger mate with colored peach fuzz on his face comes up and tries being all intimate. Alright fine… industrial music videos are known to make little sense but Christ guys you had SOMETHING going. Don’t screw it up by throwing in random people that could be considered “semi-attractive”.

Oh, whoops, too late. It’s already a frickin music video. I suppose that’s what you get for sounding more MAINSTREAM. Jerkoffs. While you’re going all mainstream why don’t you sing into the leader singer of U2’s eyes and confess how much more money you’re making and disappointing fans.

Also… if you noticed near the end of the video, the singer goes from short hair to hair down to his shoulders… WHAT THE %#@!

I guess Rogan™ does work. Must be the “overnight formula”.

DJ Amateur night for Doom and Gloom sounded okay to go to even though I knew I was going to tear apart the transition styles of the DJ. Granted, yes, they could be decent but then again there is a reason on why the flyer said amateur.

Yes I am an amateur DJ as well. Even before I got into being a DJ I knew a 90 BPM song just doesn’t mix well with a 129 BMP song. Ever heard the saying “It’s like trying to fit a square in a circular hole”? Just throwing it out their folks.

Other than the retarded DJ’s playing what seemed to be their favorite songs in random order, the night was eventful and I came back with a few new songs that I think everyone would enjoy. Granted some were obviously not meant for the dance floor (Yet they somehow appeared there), they are great to listen to while working or just rocking out.

• Zeromancer – Doctor Online and Colonial Lover.

• Emilie Autumn isn’t dance floor spectacular but a remix of “Dead is the New Alive” by Velvet Acid Christ is.

Now for the songs that should have stayed at home.

• Razed in Black – Visions (Assamblage 23 Remix): Yes the beat is catchy but there are too many dead-spots in the beat. In turn that makes it obscenely hard for even the best dancer to move to.

• Depeche Mode – Macro: Do I really need to explain? The songs overall feel is more of a seductive and make-out tone. Part of the lyrics start off with “thundering”, “pounding”, “driving”, and here’s a big hint on why it shouldn’t be used on a dance floor “Our bodies moving with pure precision.” COME ON PEOPLE THINK!

Rawr… now this song gets my blood pumping and heart just a racing. The beat, lyrics, and voice of the singer are something to reveal in. I LOVE THIS SONG.

If you ever close your eyes and sing along to this song, your worries and pain will cease. 

This is so, simply because of how the of the beat is preformed, the tempo of it, how the singer stresses his tone in the song, and ultimately, how the song is overall presented and what it means to each individual who listens to it. 

Everyone relates a song to the current on-going’s of ones life. Yes this song stresses hurt and pain. Even though the lyrics say “Thank you for making me feel as if I am guilty … making it easier to murder your sweet memory…”, it doesn’t mean that it is overall a hurtful song or one that is SOLEY made to let go of a pain that is hurting a person, namely a break up.

It does, as well, offer a tone that soothes. Listen to the tempo of the song and how deeply the bass hits as well as the electronic tones that follows before the song initially begins.  

Doing so will help anyone who has had a recent heartbreak as well as a struggle when it comes to the greatest power a person can have. Love. Love is the “Greatest Destroyer” as NIN puts in their latest album of Year Zero.

This song is not only intoxicating with its deeply enriched beat and mystifying tone, but very well written for any occasion. It provides a sense of sexiness when listening to due to the background noise and emotion in the lyrics brought forth.
