Iris is back with a brand-new release for 2008, called “Hydra”. Like the mythological multi-head growing beast, “Hydra” takes the Iris sound and expands it in multiple directions. Hydra features 3 brand new tracks, as well as remixes from bands like Mesh, Alpinestars, Conetik, Datguy, Benz & MD, and Dan Kearley.
On top of that, Iris has bundled this succulent CD with a 30 minute “behind the scenes” tour diary on a special DVD. “Hydra” creates yet another chapter in the constantly evolving Iris story and will be released by Diffusion Records on March 25th.

After three years of silence, Alex Matheu’s project ,Negative Format, is back with a brand new studio album for 2008! Marking a new evolution in Negative Format’s already record breaking sound, ‘Gradients‘ is a refreshing new take on the techno/electro scene.
‘Gradients’ is due to be released from Metropolis – Records on April 22nd, 2008. Thematically the album examines the human mind, the dark, the light, and the grays in between through a fusion of musical influences. For the following month I will be going in-depth on what makes industrial music tick, clang, and clink every Monday and Thursday. There will be laughing, crying, epiphanies, and perhaps some hate mail. Either way, everyone will be that much more enlightened (and cracking up) when the first month of 2008 is over with.
