Support the young blood on our music scene before it gets threatened by extinction!! It has been said that the best descriptive word for describing ‘Lovesick Society‘, the second album by Polish Post New Romantic band Agonized by Love, is change.

The reason being is this new album all started with a line-up change as musician Mariusz Gryciuk has, as we all know, departed from the group. This split pushed Rafal Tomaszczuk (lead singer) into exploring new grounds and essentially into new found emotions. He discovered a deep dichotomy in his inner self as well as a place that is described as “somewhere in between the contradicting worlds of Love and Sickness“. So 3 years down the road, this album was constructed on colliding worlds and contradictories.

“While we recognize the previous album, ‘All Of White Horizons‘ as a theme of rejected love, hopes and dreams; we also enter a new twisted dimension, a sick world full of despair, insanity and nightmares…”

It is the unexpected encounter between the raw and dark side between the new keyboardist and prominent Polish DJ Bartosz “H_12″ Hervy and the enigmatic romantic lyrics of Agonized by Love’s unique singer. ‘Lovesick Society’ stands at a crossroads between the tortured darkness of The Cure’s ‘Disintegration‘ album and Depeche Mode’s club-ish romantic pop sensations. This new album is nothing less than a poignant and alluring dark wave opus that will touch the very fibers found deep…deep in your heart. The album is due to release on May 23rd of this year (2008)

Tracklisting:

Aspetto solo Te

Brothers

Magnolia

Colours of the Galaxy

Shelter

Control You

Southern Sun

Alienation, Fear, Despair

The hottest Summer in the History

My Way

Ultraviolet Duna (intro)

Ultraviolet Duna

As Always, Here is A Fix.

Post from: Industrial Addiction

Random Expressions To The Industrial Genre

Decayed Thoughts

Emilie-Autumn

Industrial Addiction

Industrial Music Updates

Industrial-Lyrics

Industrial-Music

Industrial-Music-Blog

Industrial-Music-News

Industrial-Music-Site

Placebo

Running up that hill by Placebo

Running Up That Hill by Within Temptation

Within-Temptation

Sitting back and listening to a few artists that have incorporated classical instruments into their music seems to always amaze. Formed by Chris Corner (of the Sneaker Pimps) in 2004, IAMX has brazenly taken the indie rock/pop world by storm. Their provocative live shows feature powerfully artistic imagery that further augments the subject matter in their songs which range from themes of sex, death, intoxication, bisexuality, obsession, alienation, and politics. Kiss + Swallow, their debut in 2004, met with glowing praises, while their 2006 album, The Alternative, thrust them into the limelight of clubs throughout Europe and parts of North America, and was voted the #1 album of the year in 2007 by XM Radio! Metropolis will be bringing these gems to North America as domestic releases in May and June of 2008, followed by a brand new studio album in the fall.”

For more news on Metropolis-Records, and IAMX be sure to visit their web site!

As Always, Here is A Fix.

Post from: Industrial Addiction

Puscifer Releases Movie DVD of "Queen B"

CD Reviews

Industrial Music Updates

Industrial-Music

Industrial-Music-Blog

Industrial-Music-News

Maynard

Puscifer

Queen B Movie

Well, My brother bought this DVD recently and it contains 2 tracks on it.
