Actually, it’s my favorite part of the song because it holds the most emotion and pain of the whole song. The singers voice is stellar and soothing even though her voice is more of a snide remark in tone, given what she is saying.

It’s funny how you can relate lifes’ events to music and vise versa. It also reminds me a bit of Type O Negative from the singers voice, and on top of that, it’s fun to yell “HEY!” throughout the entirety of the song.

Now for the break down of the song. Right off the bat, as soon as the first string of the dust guitar is struck, the beat sends out an aggressive yet foreboding feeling yet at the same time the allure from the consistency of the bass guitar can leave the listener yearning to hear more… as if it’s addicting.

Now there are a few lyrics that extend the allure and add a dark seductive tone to the song: “Hey pathetic fool, you do not see this curse, it could be a blessing… in disguise. Hey little melody, I found your fatal trace that led me to your… hideaway..”.

Why is this alluring and darkly-seductive? Well that is easily answered if you relate it to raw emotion and giving yourself to another. I don’t mean by the horizontal mambo, but rather, when you trust somebody so much that you give everything you have to them. What is more dark and seductive than when you give yourself to someone just to see where they take you, I.E., “You do not see this curse, it could be a blessing… in disguise”.

On top of that everyone wants to know what someone else is thinking, especially if it has anything to do with them. So once a person gives themselves up to someone else, that includes their thoughts; “I found your fatal trace that led me to your… hideaway…” Everyone’s innate hideaway is their mind, their dark unknown, hideaway.

That is why those lyrics make this song so addicting, but then again, the beat helps.

Enjoy!

== Diary of Dreams – The Plague ==

boomp3.com

“Hey, pretty face
you think that you can hide
behind this mask of yours

Hey, prison cell
you can not keep me here
Silent waters are deep you know

Chorus:
I cannot see the man that you can see in me
I cannot kill this guy not even if I tried
I think I need to run to make myself a home
I need to separate the living from the dead

This is the mind you came to fight
Call it fateful!
Don’t be a plague, a spell to kill
You should be grateful!
(You should be grateful!)

… Call it faithful…
…You should be grateful!
(You should be grateful!)

Hey, pathetic fool…
you do not see this curse
could be a blessing… in disguise

Hey, little melody
I found your fatal trace
that led me to your… hideaway

Chorus:
I cannot see the man that you can see in me
I cannot kill this guy not even if I tried
I think I need to run to make myself a home
I need to separate the living from the dead

This is the mind you came to fight
Call it fateful!
Don’t be a plague, a spell to kill
You should be grateful!

This is the mind you came to fight
Call it fateful!
Don’t be a plague, a spell to kill
You should be grateful!
(You should be grateful!)”

As Always, Here is A Fix.

Post from: Industrial Addiction

Stromkern – Stand Up Lyrics

Lyrics

Song Reviews

Industrial-Blogs

Industrial-Lyrics

Industrial-Music

Industrial-Music-Blog

Industrial-Music-Blogs

Industrial-Music-News

Stand-Up-Lyrics

Stromkern---Stand-Up-Lyrics

Stromkern-Lyrics

Stromkern-Music

Stromkern-News

Imagine an all out brawl of :wumpscut, Yo Yo Ma, and House of Pain, and you’ll have the sound of Stromkern! font-family: 'Trebuchet MS'">I’ve always loved De\Vision. Some or their songs do sound a bit… sappy at times, but their beats keep me listening to their songs over and over no matter how sappy their lyrics are. Some of my favorites are “I Regret”, “The End”, “Subtronic [Beat of Steel Remix]”, and of course “Strange Affection”. They have come so far in both looks and in style from their earlier days, though they still have a very similar style to Depeche Mode and Joy Divison. This song I actually mistook for a Depeche Mode song since the styles are that similar at times!

There are people out there stating that De\Vision have gone as far as creating rip off songs from the more widely known and one of their influential bands; Depeche Mode. Some soothsayers also state that De\Vision is a play on words from Depeche (De) and Division (Vision). I can neither conform nor deny this yet but I honestly could care less.

If the band wants to create a name by fusing two other known names and make their own, then fine. Obviously they wanted to show how much these other bands meant in their music and show some more thanks and respect then just some text under Bands Influence.

Some people can be so retarded when it comes to asinine crap as a bands NAME. If people really wish to put that kind of energy into something useful… say, their own bands’ name, then I think there could be a lot more clever and eccentric band names. Hell even some record label names could be more creative if that energy was used in a more positive manner… Retards.

This song is called “<st1:street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">Love Will Find A Way</st1:address></st1:street>” by of course, De\Vision. So go get the song, come back here and sing along with the lyrics! If you don’t feel like doing that then I’m going to post Madonna next week…

As Always, Here is A Fix.

Post from: Industrial Addiction
