Torture Tuesday – Front Line Assembly

Torture Tuesday – Front Line Assembly

Front Line Assembly has been around for many years and has been rocking the Synth-Pop and Industrials scenes since I can remember. Now this song called “The Blade” is about a 5.5 on a 1:10 scale. It’s great to listen to when working on a project or as a tune to have some background noise. Too bad I can’t say the same about the music video.

Fxxk The Mainstream Review and ReGen Magazine

Fxxk The Mainstream Review and ReGen Magazine

I’m sure all you industrial and EBM fans have heard of the Fxxk The Mainstream Volume 1 CD… Unfortunately my brother has the CD and heh, I’m glad it stays in his car. Though it does have a lot of decent songs, the overall diversity and flow of the CD needed to have a lot more thought put into it. I recently came across a review from ReGen Magazine one this particular let down of what they deem to be a CD.
The reviewer is that of Damon Wilson and here is a quick excerpt on the review:

Celldweller: Take It and Break It Volume #2 – Frozen Remixes

Celldweller: Take It and Break It Volume #2 – Frozen Remixes

Klayton from Celldweller is on his third remix contest from his personal label FIXT. During these contest’s, music producers from industrial to EBM to drum & bass to IDM and all points in between, come to put their own taste on the selected track. This contests track was Frozen. Just as the other contests stated, there will only be three winners chosen out of hundreds of submissions.
First place was the As Ember mix by Brent Young. A hard-hitting industrial mix full of searing synth manipulations amid fields of ambient bass pads, it’s no wonder this mix won first place, bearing …read more

Industrial Friendly Hurdles Part I – High School

Industrial Friendly Hurdles Part I – High School

Actually, there is no Rivethead unfriendly setting. Any place that seems culturally stable and has only a handful of Marilyn Manson worshipers to its name is ripe to be shattered by a fierce individualist such as yourself. In this portion of the course we will discuss how to safely and effectively scare an entire population of those “normal folks.”
Let’s take school, for example. High school is the best place to launch a full-force Rivethead campaign. People scare easily, and those who aren’t scared will worship you and your deviant ways NOTE: Once this number of people increases beyond two, you …read more

De\Vision – Strange Affection Lyrics

De\Vision – Strange Affection Lyrics

boomp3.com
For some reason I have been on a De\Vision kick for the past week. The songs are so addicting and it is very hard to explain why. Perhaps it just “That Time of Year Again”, or maybe it’s because the band just rocks.
This song was from their earlier days (the 80’s) but it shows the same De\Vision you hear today though with more of the hair band touch; especially the music video. Feel free to sing with this daunting and hypnotic beat and give some feedback in this elder band!
“Give me your bright white eyes that I …read more
