I have always been able to find different meanings in a song that I have listened to for awhile and have been able to relate it to any event in my life, good or bad. Many people say I speak through music.

I believe anyone is capable of doing that with any genre of music, but industrial music seems to have a bit more of a personal “one on one” message; from singer to listener is you will. Some people are able to do this with a particular band again and again. For me it’s been Puscifer. For others it has been Skinny Puppy, Combichrist, Assemblage 23, or even Within Temptation and Theatre of Tragedy.

Whatever band you have been able to do this with or have had a friend tell you of this experience will always vary and it rather… odd. I think it is very unique and a pleasant surprise that this has occurred. Perhaps it is just me that has this feeling or gets a deep personal message when I listen to a song. Then again perhaps not.

I can only imagine that a band would want this sort of outcome with their songs since it would ultimately bring both fans and artists closer together, more so than just a “common ground” of enjoying the music overall.

I wonder if I’m crazy or if I’m just head over heels for this genre. What say you?

As Always, Here is A Fix.

Post from: Industrial Addiction

6 Speaker Wednesday

Decayed Thoughts

Assemblage-23

Club

depeche-mode

Doom-And-Gloom

EBM

Electronica

Emilie-Autmn

Goths

Industrial

Industrial-Music

Industrial-News

Power Noise

Razed-in-Black

Remix

Synth-Pop

Zeromancer

DJ Amateur night for Doom and Gloom sounded okay to go to even though I knew I was going to tear apart the transition styles of the DJ. The songs overall feel is more of a seductive and make-out tone. Part of the lyrics start off with “thundering”, “pounding”, “driving”, and here’s a big hint on why it shouldn’t be used on a dance floor “Our bodies moving with pure precision.” COME ON PEOPLE THINK!

<span style="font-size: 10pt;
