It’s always a hard thing compose when someone asks you “What type of music do you listen to?” Especially if you listen to Industrial Music. One reason being is industrial music is full of some many sub-genre’s and categories that often times, they cross into one another very heavily. So needless to say, it becomes quite a pain-in-the-ass to correctly categorize a particular song or band.

They dress too cool for the local populace. How can those lovely people in adidas tops, or even Type O Negative t-shirts hope to obtain their standard? For the following month I will be going in-depth on what makes industrial music tick, clang, and clink every Monday and Thursday. There will be laughing, crying, epiphanies, and perhaps some hate mail. Either way, everyone will be that much more enlightened (and cracking up) when the first month of 2008 is over with.

Music is amazing in so many ways I’d have trouble writing it all down given my lifespan. Music can not only heal, hurt, speak with another’s voice, hold back meaning, but it can also give insight to an extent and amazement that is often un-thought of.
This just doesn’t pertain to one genre of music nor is any message received from music the same in any of the genres that people listen to. Each genre of music holds there own voice, look, feeling, and personality. With this being said, Industrial music’s voice is the most varied and often, unheard.
