Excuse the way updates to the site have been going for the past weeks since I have found a job locally that has me working odd and often, very long hours through the week and weekends. A lot of things have been needing my attention and I have reluctantly been giving up my valuable time dedicated to <em>Industrial Addiction</em> to complete them. </font></p> <p><span id="more-284"></span></p> <p><font face="Trebuchet MS" size="2">On a good note however, I have them almost completed and they should be finalized by the latest, September. The first project of <strong><u>Good Boy Productions</u></strong> will be a Canadian festival called <u>Pemberton Festival</u>. </font> <p><font face="Trebuchet MS" size="2">In the meantime <em>Dave Gahan (</em>Depeche Mode) is again trying to stop the old rumor that his heroin and cocaine drug overdose in 1996 was a suicide attempt. <strong>Gahan</strong> was pronounced clinically dead after combining the drugs &#8211; known as a speedball &#8211; in a Los Angeles hotel room. He was revived by paramedics and survived. <strong>Gahan</strong>, 45, tells Hustler magazine that is was no suicide attempt: </font> <p><font face="Trebuchet MS" size="2">&#8220;I&#8217;m painfully aware that was not what I was trying to do. All I was trying to do was disappear for a while, and that became a lost weekend&#8230;What I thought I wanted to do in my life was escape constantly from whatever it was that was going on. Granted the pain associated with a song can vary and at times be completely unbearable. Then again, what song would be more releasing in the end. I think everyone has those types of songs. I know I have many of these &#8216;torture songs&#8217;, and I listen to them quite often. Sometimes they give me enough emotion that I need to get up and do what actually needs done.</font></p> <p><font face="Trebuchet MS" size="2">Then again sometimes they don&#8217;t.</font></p> <p><font face="Trebuchet MS" size="2"><em>Don&#8217;t Cry Out</em> is slightly becoming one of those songs for me but on the other hand, I think it&#8217;s just because I&#8217;m addicted to it.</font></p> <p><font face="Trebuchet MS" size="2">Wonder what other torture songs people have. A tentative date of around November 25th has been communicated to retailers and media in Spain via the <u>IFPI</u> owned operation <strong><u>Promusicae</u> </strong>(A retail newspaper/magazine). A tour would be announced in the early fall of 2008, with pre-sales in September or October. The actual tour would not start until early 2009. Lots of news, but all unconfirmed, although <a href="http://www.depeche-mode.com">depeche-mode.com</a> is known for having respected and trustworthy sources.</font></p> <p><font face="Trebuchet MS" size="2">Wonder how Gahan feels about this or if he is even personally included.
