Sacramento, California’s [syndika:zero] crashed into the industrial scene in late 2006. Headed up by L1fg1v3r, [syndika:zero] rose from the ashes of his previous project (Victim: 1313) to produce their own brand of hard-nosed electro and idm that has been affectionately described as “Being pistol-whipped while a broken transistor radio plays Sinatra EXTREMELY loud”.

"Cover Up" By Ministry

"Cover Up" By Ministry

“We don’t just bitch about Bush and global oligarchies. We’re still a rock band and ‘Cover Up‘ is Ministry’s party album”

said Ministry’s Al Jourgensen about “Cover Up“, recorded by Ministry and ‘Co-Conspirators’. The album was set for an April Fools Day release.
“Cover Up” simply is one of the hottest, nastiest rock ‘n roll albums ever recorded and sees Jourgensen and ‘Co-Conspirators’ as paying tribute to some of the most memorable rock songs as well as to the artists who first laid them down, I.E.:

NIN Showing Some Radiohead Love.

NIN Showing Some Radiohead Love.

When artist’s get pissed, they always seem to find a way to make their statement not only heard, but they show their point with flying colors. So far two artists have shown their distaste for the major record labels who like to rip-off their fans. So normally when a big name band throws a fit and makes sense, the less heard bands will normally hop on the band-wagon and follow suite not only to show that they love their fans as well, but add support to the bigger band.

EBMfest 2008 Updates

EBMfest 2008 Updates

EBMfest is a huge event that takes place every year and the EBMfest 2007 had Rotersand as their headliner. Now this years EBMfest was very disappointing and it wasn’t due to the bands vocal ability live. What happened was the headliner, Rotersand, up and CANCLED. WHAT THE HELL MATES?!
Rotersand is a very talented group but why the fuck would you cancel at THIS FEST? I sat here bitching about it and then Rotersand gave us insight to why the cancelation occurred:

Monday Insight

Monday Insight

The latest album by Edge of Dawn really pisses me off. Alright now I know not everyone loves Mondays but sheesh, Edge of Dawn must have created their upcoming album, Borderline Black Heart, on nothing but Mondays. Don’t get me wrong, Edge of Dawn is a great band and I have been an avid listener since my teen years, but Christ, take a look at the tracklist and tell me what is wrong:

01. Black Heart (Alpha)
02. Split Second (Undertow)
03. Descent(Fractured Remix)
04. Second Split (The Party Girl)
05. Black Heart (Coeur Triste)
06. Kiss or Kill (Featuring Charlene April)
07. The Nightmare I Am …read more

Torture Tuesday – Suicide Commando

Torture Tuesday – Suicide Commando

One thing I absolutely admire, and love about industrial music is how much can be portrayed by both the fans and bands. For one, Industrial music is very political; the same with punk music. With that being said industrial music, as a result, isn’t mainstream, well liked, and can be very hard to dance to.
The benefit from industrial being political is that there are some issues that can be addressed and it will be more accepted then if someone just shot off their mouth, stating their views. So when a fan of a band throws together a video …read more

Suicide Commando – X.20 (Best Of)

Suicide Commando – X.20 (Best Of)

Suicide Commando has been around for years. Well 20 years to be exact and they are still pumping out albums, rocking fans, baffling novices and keeping the music at its best. Over the 20 year onslaught of melodical bliss, Suicide Commando is bringing out their 7th album called X.20 (Best Of).
The CD will have 15 handpicked, fan adored songs, original and club hits. That’s right, I said FAN PICKED. Right there is one in-your-face reason to love Suicide Commando. Metropolis Records is the proud label to be putting out this album.
The only thing I hope that doesn’t …read more

Combichrist – Master Control

Combichrist – Master Control

Hrm nice beat, not a lot of lyrics. Good for the mind numbing effects if you so wish to have it. Mater Control, which is found on “The Joy of Gunz” album is a great song to dance to as well as lose yourself in the beat. Not only is this song easy to dance and loose yourself to, it can be a great song to just have playing in the back ground when playing a FPS (First Person Shooter). Try timing the head shots with the beat and see how see if “Godlike” can be accomplished in less than …read more
