Industrial Addiction

I think everyone has music that speaks to them in various ways. An earlier post was constructed explaining how Industrial music has a Personal Message in every song that is created. The personal message is one everyone gets out of the song and not necessarily directly from the artists. With that being said, I wonder if everyone has a comfort song by a different artist each month. For some reason I have been on a De\Vision kick for the past week. The songs are so addicting and it is very hard to explain why. Perhaps it just “That Time of Year Again”, or maybe it’s because the band just rocks.
This song was from their earlier days (the 80’s) but it shows the same De\Vision you hear today though with more of the hair band touch; especially the music video. Feel free to sing with this daunting and hypnotic beat and give some feedback in this elder band!

Upon searching for new talent among the plethora of want-to-be industrial producers, I stumbled upon the band called Collide. Now they may not be just out of the garage or basement for that matter, but they aren’t exactly the most widely known either. From what I have heard, this band has potential.

Not sure if you folk, have heard of Gary Jules or watched the movie Donnie Darko (suffered through it is more accurate), but the song from Gary Jules called Mad World has been recently obtained my moi.
The Techno version of course people; you didn’t think I was going soft on you?  
So fine I have the original song by Mr. Jules as well, live with it…

Angelspit is a glorious band. The song 100% can be found on Asleep By Dawn – DJ Ferret’s Mix #2 as well as on their official album Krankhaus. The song is simple yet seductive, short and to the point, and outright insane.
This song can give you a quick fix if you are in need of an electro beat and an attractive female voice. However, if you are looking for a song that makes sense, you are better off looking some place else.

Any who. Emilie Autumn’s Let The Record Show off her Opheliac album is a great listen. In this song she does stress her voice like she does in the songs Thank God I’m Pretty and Opheliac, just to name a few. Great album. Gorgeous artist: in not only looks but more importantly in her music, I.E. her voice and instrumental bliss that is dubbed, Victoriandurstial. The album is comprised of 18 tracks and 3 of which are poems written by none other than… WILLIAM SHATNER.

This is the very FIRST, Numero Uno remix video ever posted on Industrial Addiction and it is AMAZING in not only the song BUT video! Today is a good day.
Now this song is called Love to Blame [DJ Lee Perception Mix]. This DJ did an EXCELLENT JOB on remixing this already beautifully intoxicating song. Apoptygma Berzerk has been around since 1989 and has been blasting their musical blissfulness world-wide since!
