Expanding more on what was said last Monday Insight, industrial music is lyrically created in such a way that can they can hold a very personal message. I have always been able to find different meanings in a song that I have listened to for awhile and have been able to relate it to any event in my life, good or bad. Many people say I speak through music.

Well Today is the 21st and VNV Nation played… and I missed it. GAR. Oh well, I wasn’t the only one in the apartment or that I know who ended up missing the show. Shame to, I would have loved to seen them play. I own a DVD that is comprised of many concerts from VNV Nation and they all looked like it would have been worth it. They will play again hopefully around here soon so I still may get my chance. Has anyone else seen them in concert?
As Always, Here is A Fix.
Over the past few months I.A. has covered Electronica, EBM, Gothic, Synth- Pop, and Dark Wave. All next week, however, there will be a special week of ambient, and ethereal posts. (I haven’t forgotten this genre!!)
This is a genre that has been long associated with industrial but not many see it that way. It is and so it shall be covered in I.A.

Just an update for everyone coming to Industrial Addiction, Lately I’ve been having internet issues that have been prohibiting me from adding new content to the site. My ISP has been giving me issues to where I cannot connect long enough to submit anything new.
I am extremely sorry for this inconvenience. I feel horrible about it even though there is not much I can do except wait till the ISP gets their techies over to figure out what the major malfunction is. So far they have been telling me it is one of their servers.
