You can check out more from this band at the Autodafeh Myspace Page (which their sound reminds me a lot of Combichrist and a few of their samples do sound the same, just a warning.)

[syndika:zero] Signed With CrunchPod!

Sacramento, California’s [syndika:zero] crashed into the industrial scene in late 2006. Headed up by L1fg1v3r, [syndika:zero] rose from the ashes of his previous project (Victim: 1313) to produce their own brand of hard-nosed electro and idm that has been affectionately described as “Being pistol-whipped while a broken transistor radio plays Sinatra EXTREMELY loud”.

Quite annoying!
However, with that being said, I found a ‘Top 20 Bands’ post from the site known as Hellwire Industrial Music, and looking through their list I thought “Now I wonder how many people actually agree or disagree with this listing?”

Prussia Records Welcomes Alice in Videoland! (Lucky SOB’s)

Prussia Records are proud to welcome one of the most exciting Scandinavian bands in their roster: Alice in Videoland. According to first sensational press reactions, the forthcoming album ‘She’s a Machine‘ will shake continents, ears, minds, and club floors!
No other act of the past years has brought more fresh wind, power, and freakiness to the music market than Alice in Videoland! I’m surprised Prussia Records isn’t still shaking from their knees and grinning with selfish delight to have this extremely well known band on their roster.
I know I would be and I’d let everyone know, no matter if it …read more

Portishead – ‘Third’

Portishead – ‘Third’

Portishead returns from a ten-year hiatus with eleven new tracks that are sure to please long-time fans, and newcomers alike. In the early 1990s, before triphop was even given a name, Portishead was right there in the fray, defining this new genre, amongst the ranks of Massive Attack, Tricky, and others. Alternative rockers, electronic ravers, and classic breakbeat enthusiasts all took to their sound. In recent years, the music industry has watched Gnarls Barkley, The …read more
