The B5Media network:

C/A/T – The Trilogy of 51X

The band C/A/T has just announced their upcoming release of the first of a THREE disk album-trilogy called ‘The Great Crisis‘. Now all of this is a small description of the events the trilogy will express:

“In the near future humanity will experience catastrophes beyond our comprehension. War, disease, starvation, are just the beginning. One event though will take humanity to the edge of extinction. That event is called 51X. Information about 51X has been kept classified by various entities since it began. Techno-industrial outfit C/A/T has gone to great lengths and danger to make us aware of this threat. In a series of recordings, C/A/T will provide information to the world about this event in what has been called the 51X trilogy. The first of these albums, called ‘The Great Crisis‘ will explain how it all began. This trilogy serves as a warning to us all that should not be ignored.”

Now, Re-Gen Magazine has stated that:

C/A/T will release the first album from its “51X” trilogy, The Great Crisis, May 27 on Crunch Pod. The album is the first in a planned series documenting an imaginary future catastrophe on Earth from three different storytellers’ perspectives. The next volume is slated for late 2008, and the final installment is planned for 2009, completing the cycle.”

Also, it seems C/A/T is is the midst of creating a special web site devoted just to this trilogy and is found at: www.wearestillalive.com. Too bad you just get a background and an amazing description that seems to be coded in transparent or non-existent font… or maybe it’s just not THERE YET.

Thankfully they do have three other sites that can give you more information on pricing and what the band plans overall to do with this ‘futuristic catastrophe’.

Not to be a jerk or anything, but didn’t Nine Inch Nails already do this with their album ‘Year Zero‘? Well, even if they did, I’m sure C/A/T’s doom and gloom prophecy will be just as entertaining despite the possibility of having to compete against Nine Inch Nails and their prophecy.

As Always, Here is A Fix.
