Recap on Don’t Cry Out – Another Meaning?

I wanted to do a quick recap on the band of Shiny Toy Guns and their song Don’t Cry Out.  I have no idea why the chorus is so addicting; but it is. Even when she screams out in anger/pain, coupled with the smooth guitar tabs and slightly upbeat tempo of the synth beat, the song can make one just want to close their eyes and potentially loose themselves in a daydream; be it good or bad.

That’s one of the main reasons why I find industrial and the related genres so alluring and hypnotic. Fuck aroma therapy. Grab a favored CD of Shiny Toy Guns and slap that bugger into a player; be it a car system or even an Xbox 360 and let the music cascade over you.

Even a sad and hurtful song can be releasing. Granted the pain associated with a song can vary and at times be completely unbearable. Then again, what song would be more releasing in the end. I think everyone has those types of songs. I know I have many of these ‘torture songs’, and I listen to them quite often. Sometimes they give me enough emotion that I need to get up and do what actually needs done.

Then again sometimes they don’t.

Don’t Cry Out is slightly becoming one of those songs for me but on the other hand, I think it’s just because I’m addicted to it.

Wonder what other torture songs people have. Can to share?

As Always, Here is A Fix.
