Blaqk Audio – New and BAD ASS!!

One new band I have been listening to lately is none other than DUN DUN DUNNNNN. BLAQK AUDIO!

Why you maybe asking? Well I’ll tell you! For one, in all honesty, I happened to hear their songs “The Love Letter” and “Stiff Kittens”, on pure accident. My brother happened to be sampling their only album out called CexCells.

So while I was recovering from a recent mishap, I found their album and sampled some more of their songs. After their third song I was sold like a like a pumpkin pie during Christmas. (Pumpkin Pie rocks people; I don’t care what you say, PFFT.)

This band is very talented and full of spectacular surprises. I would be asinine for me to say that their tracks on their album do not sound the same… what I will say is I have found only 2 songs that sound similar in STYLE.

They have beats that make you want to jump up and dance, beats that will make you want to give your lover a massage they will never forget. Hell, they even have beats on this track that are great for killing off level 13 enemies in your favorite game!

That isn’t even touching on the singers voice and what he has to say. Another tid bit that I find to be a succulent morsel is that the titles of the tracks are never said anywhere in the song. Now I know that can piss people off when they are trying to figure out what song they are listening to on the radio and have never heard it before. Then again, when the hell do you ever hear synth-pop or any industrial related genre on the frigin radio.

If you look at it through a different light, the artist has something even more to say with just the title. Now I know mainstream artists have done this to a few of their songs out there, but due to mainstream being a simple form of music and talent (at times), the artists normally keep their song titles with a lyric that can be found within the song.

With that being said, when an artist goes about and names a song without any relating lyrics, it shows that the artist really has something to say and has put over 100% into their songs and more emotion as well. That is unless the song title makes absolutely no relevance to the song and what they have to say when it is being sung.

I really suggest checking out this album as soon as you can! If not.. you’ll be sorry when your friend or lover comes up and says “HEY, check this band out!” I know then you’ll be thinking: “Demnit I should have listened to Decay!!”

It’s okay, I’ll forgive you only this time :P .

As Always, Here is A Fix.
