Monday Insight

Which do you think is more fun to do when listening to industrial music? Dancing to it in your own home/apartment or dancing at a club with the speakers blaring while surrounded by others who seem to have the same addiction as you?

Which ever it is, have you ever asked yourself why? Along with that, have you ever asked yourself, “Can I really dance to this music or do I look like a monkey hyped up on crack?”

Of course neither of these things matter when you’re loosing yourself every time the base hits or when the lyrics make your soul feel as if it is being finally freed by the lyrical genius of the singer. Though, I have seen (as I’m sure most of you have too), some really crappy dancing.

Industrial music is not only hard to comprehend, but it is even harder to dance to and not look like you’re having a vertical-seizure. They are fun to watch sometimes when the dance floor just isn’t what you maybe feeling at the time. There are times though when that gorgeous female or male gets on the floor and dazzles not only your eyes by their physic, but the overall finesse of their movements which make you want to finish of that smoke or perhaps down the rest of your drink, and get your sexy self on that floor! Heck, you know you’re a good dancer when others jump down to dance no matter if they are good at it or not.

EBM, Industrial, and Synth-Pop are the most notable when it comes to finding those great dancers… most of the time. Then again, there are those dancers who like to try and incorporate martial arts into their dance moves. The thought that pops into my head every time I see that is: “Oh baby, I like nothing more than dancing with someone who looks like they are trying to beat the crap out of me while Combichrist or Zeromancer is blazing through the speakers!” COME ON PEOPLE.

Then again, maybe that’s just me.

If any of you can or have seen some spectacular dancers out on the dance floor or even in your apartment, why not share it here?

As Always, Here is A Fix
