Emilie Autmn – Opheliac Album

Great album. Gorgeous artist: in not only looks but more importantly in her music, I.E. her voice and instrumental bliss that is dubbed, Victoriandurstial. The album is comprised of 18 tracks and 3 of which are poems written by none other than… WILLIAM SHATNER.

Kidding… they are written by Emilie. Sorry to trick you folks. I know I know… bad decay. ..:: Slaps Hand ::..

Now that’s out of the way, Opheliac, has been one of Emilie Autumns most loved album due to the fact that she not only surprises people with her talent but her love of the violin and industrial music shines brighter than the sun does on a druggies eyes that hasn’t moved in the past three weeks.

Also, her song Dominate is pure instrumental and is presented in such a demeanor that Mozart would say: “Bloody Hell she’s good!” Don’t ask me why he has an English accent yet he’s German…

On another note, the song Thank God I’m Pretty, takes some getting used to. Upon hearing it for the first time, a roommate of mine stated: “God she’s arrogant and conceited in this song.” My reply was: “No duh! Look at her…”

I then later explained to him that she wasn’t being conceited in the song but rather she was making fun of everything that has been happening due to the fact that she is physically appealing to males, and sings about how being a gorgeously successful female can be a burden.

He still didn’t connect though. That is okay since he buys me an occasional drink when we are out and about, so all is forgiven.

As Always, Here is A Fix
